The series is called “Green to Tee” as the pros (Seth Glasco and Dick Dragger) begin working from the putting green and then work their way back to the driving range.
This approach is counter-culture/intuitive as most players and teachers begin with at the range blasting balls and then throw in the short game. The focus here is to realize that the short seemingly simple shots around the green are as important (and count the same) as the booming 300 yard drive down the middle of the fairway.
If you really want to improve your scores you don’t spend more time seeing how you can add an extra 20 yards to an already great drive; rather focus on building your short game up so that you can compliment your great drive (and long game) with an exceptional short game.
