The goal of stability exercises is to effectively challenge your normal range of motion while improving balance, coordination and strength. It’s also important to place the same neurological demands on your body as you experience in the swing.
There will be heavy concentration on the golfer’s “core” region meaning the muscles that provide stability to your pelvis, spine and hips. Since they are the foundation of your swing, each exercise will stimulate coordinating muscles through golf specific movements.Focus will remain on rebuilding postural stabilization as well as core stabilization.
An important rule to follow in an effective golf conditioning program is to develop the core region prior to training the arms and legs. In essence, we are starting our training from the inside-out.
